Our mission

T

he Driving School Association of Quebec (DSAQ) has a mission of representing and defending the interest of its members.  The association encourages dialogue with public officials and policy makers in instances where their input is valuable.

The association acts and reacts to the evolution of the driving education industry in Quebec.  With changing laws and diverse road rules, the industry needs an influential voice representing enterprises associated with driver education.

The DSAQ believes in cultivating its social responsibility in listening and attending to needs of these driving school owners by helping standardize the way in which their services are delivered.

The protection of the consumer is also of vital importance for the Association.  The DSAQ expects honest and professional business practices from all of its members.  The Driving School Association of Quebec has put in place a code of ethics for all members to be familiar with.  The association will put in place a committee to oversee complaints, these complaints will be reviewed by arbitrator to referee and or punish members in breach of the DSAQ ethics code.

The Association pledges to keep its members informed and will provide counsel in relation to all social, legal and fiscal regulations regarding the profession, as well as related documents.
